Data processed and source

This website does not contain forms. SAMARAZ only receives the data that a user chooses to provide by email, telephone, WhatsApp or another contact channel, including identity and contact details, professional information and the information needed to understand and handle the request.

Purposes and lawful bases

  • To answer enquiries and prepare a possible service engagement, on the basis of pre-contractual steps;
  • To deliver contracted services and manage client relationships, on the basis of contract performance;
  • To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations;
  • To protect the security, rights and legitimate interests of the company and its clients;
  • To send marketing communications only where consent or another applicable lawful basis exists, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.

Recipients, retention and transfers

Data may be processed by providers essential to business operations — including hosting, email, communications, accounting or technical support — under confidentiality obligations, and by public authorities where required by law. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards required by law will be used.

Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and for legally required periods. Enquiries that do not lead to a contractual relationship are erased or anonymised when no longer needed, without prejudice to retention required for the establishment or defence of legal claims.

Individual rights

Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to the processing of their data, and may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of previous processing. Requests should be sent to geral@samaraz.pt; strictly necessary proof of identity may be requested.

Individuals may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese National Data Protection Commission — CNPD ↗.
